Variable Frequency Speed Control Kneader
Product Introduction
Many chemical batches change as soon as binder wets the powder. The load can be easy at loading and suddenly hard near the end. A fixed-speed drive leaves the operator with few choices; frequency control gives a softer start and a different working speed when the dough develops.

Product Features & Application
The inverter acts as a soft starter, building speed without sending a full-load shock into the gearbox. Once the material is moving, the operator can use a faster wetting step and then a slower, higher-torque knead.
The drive package is arranged around one transition: loose feed first, resistant dough later. WEG supplies the motor, Guomao carries the force, Siemens controls the speed, NSK supports the shaft line, and Schneider/Chint protect the panel. Belt coupling gives a buffer for a sudden overload; direct coupling suits a stiff, well-understood load.
Core Components & Features
This model is useful when one recipe has more than one material state. The notes below explain the selection from the overload profile a production team can observe during a trial.

WEG Motor
The WEG motor is sized for the thick end of the formulation, not only for the free-flowing start. That leaves useful torque available as the dough develops.
Guomao Gear Reducer
The Guomao reducer provides the force path between motor and blades. Belt or direct coupling is selected around shock behaviour, and its ratio is checked with the speed range and duty cycle.
Siemens Inverter
A Siemens inverter gives the process a soft start and a practical choice at each stage. The operator can shorten wetting time without forcing the final high-viscosity knead to run at the same rate.
NSK Bearing
NSK bearings support the shafts when loose powder becomes resistant dough. Keeping the line aligned limits gearbox shock, protects seals and holds blade clearance through the transition.
Schneider Electrical Components
Schneider electrical components give the panel a familiar platform for inverter protection, coupling logic and local service. The control scope can reflect the customer's voltage and overload alarms.
Applications
The speed-control model is useful when one batch changes markedly between loading and finish, or when a line handles several formulations. In the 20 L reference entry, the table lists 14 L working capacity, a 4 kW motor and 48/36 rpm blades; the final profile still comes from the trial.

Chemical & Adhesive Materials
Powder-and-resin systems often start freely and finish as a dense dough. Soft start and selectable speed let the operator follow that change instead of accepting a fixed-speed compromise.

Rubber & Plastics
Plastic and rubber compounds can deliver sudden load changes as they warm or absorb binder. Belt or direct drive can be chosen from that behaviour, with inverter control protecting the transition.

Carbon & New Materials
Carbon, graphite and filled powders need wetting first and force later. A staged speed profile helps distribute the binder and then hold torque without adding unnecessary shear.

Food Materials
Some dough and ingredient formulations also move from loose feed to a heavy mass. If sanitary use is intended, contact finish and cleaning are specified with the flexible drive package.
Production Details
The exterior view shows a standard heavy-duty kneader, motor-reducer drive and inverter cabinet arranged for practical service. The coupling choice can be made around the customer's floor space and known overload conditions.

Variable frequency speed-control cabinet
Coupling type, speed range, motor power, bearing support, thermal utility and discharge are confirmed before fabrication. The 100 L reference entry lists 70 L working capacity and an 11 kW motor; the selected build is checked against the actual formulation.
Product Qualification & Inspection Support
PDI for the variable frequency speed control kneader can include soft-start and speed checks, coupling inspection, bearing temperature, control alarms, visible welds and the agreed drive parameters. Final records match the selected belt or direct arrangement.

Delivery, Shipping and Service
The heavy frame and inverter cabinet are secured to a transport skid and packed in reinforced timber. We provide loading photographs, a 12-month warranty and remote support for drive parameters and the first start-up.
FAQ
Q: Why choose variable speed instead of a fixed-speed motor?
A: The material does not have one constant resistance. Variable speed lets the machine wet powder quickly, then slow down for a stiff dough while keeping torque available.
Q: When should we choose a belt drive or direct coupling?
A: A belt can provide a useful buffer when overloads are sudden or unpredictable. Direct coupling suits a stiff but well-understood load where maximum torque transfer is more important.
Q: What details are needed to choose the drive package?
A: Provide the viscosity change through the cycle, batch size, speed range, start condition and any known shock load. We will use that information to compare motor, reducer and coupling options.
