Pressure Kneader

Pressure Kneader

Details
A hydraulic pressure kneader for rubber blocks, EVA resin and other light or resilient feedstock that tends to ride above the blades. The pressure lid brings that material into the working zone. The reference table ranges from NH/NHZ-0.25 to NH/NHZ-10000, so the lid, drive and working volume can be discussed around the real batch size.

Product Introduction

Light or elastic feedstock can sit above ordinary blades. Dry rubber blocks and EVA may leave a dry layer at the top, even while the lower part of the batch is already moving. That is the point at which a pressure lid earns its place.

The lid applies a controlled downward load while the blades keep folding the batch. We treat lid travel, drive torque, seals and interlocks as one sequence and record the pressing condition with the mixing recipe.

Product Features & Application

When the lid comes down, the WEG motor and Guomao reducer carry the added blade load. The hydraulic station follows the lid stroke and pressure; Siemens speed control handles the change in working speed, while Schneider and Chint protect the motor and hydraulic auxiliaries.

Core Components & Features

A pressure lid is useful only when its force agrees with blade torque and the control sequence. The parts below are the points a buyer can check before comparing this layout with a conventional mixer.

WEG Motor

The WEG motor is selected for the moment when the lid has increased contact and the batch offers its highest resistance. Starting margin is checked at that point, not only during free running.

Guomao Gear Reducer

The Guomao reducer sets the slow, forceful blade motion used under pressure. Ratio and service factor are reviewed with lid load, recipe density and cycle time.

Siemens Inverter

The Siemens inverter lets the operator change blade speed as the lid moves. A gentler wetting stage can lead into stronger work without a sudden step at the drive.

NSK Bearing

NSK bearings take the upward reaction from a loaded chamber. Alignment keeps the shafts centred and protects the seal line while the lid is in service.

Schneider Electrical Components

Schneider components provide the protection and interlock layer for the mixer and lid. Stop, hold and restart logic is matched to the customer's operating procedure.

Applications

A pressure lid is considered when a material remains light, elastic or difficult to wet. The 20 L reference entry, for example, lists 14 L working capacity and a 4 kW motor; the final choice still follows the material trial.

application-rubber-plastics

Rubber & Plastics

Rubber blocks, EVA and resilient polymer feedstock may stay on top of ordinary blades. The lid increases contact earlier in the cycle and reduces the need for manual pushing.

application-chemical-adhesive

Chemical & Adhesive Materials

Elastic adhesives and dense polymer doughs can resist wetting from above. Controlled lid force gives the operator another way to guide the material while the drive carries the torque.

application-carbon-new-materials

Carbon & New Materials

Light carbon blends and powder-rich compounds may need help staying in the working part of the chamber. Lid load and speed are checked together for wetting and dispersion.

application-food-materials

Food Materials

Some light, sticky food or confectionery feedstocks benefit from firmer contact with the blades. Sanitary materials and cleaning access are reviewed before approval.

Production Details

The exterior view shows the pressure lid, W-shaped chamber, hydraulic station and heavy drive base. Lid travel and service points remain visible, which helps the maintenance team plan access before installation.

Before fabrication, we confirm pressing force, lid stroke, seal, interlock, blade clearance and receiving method from the material's behaviour. For larger projects, the 1,000 L reference entry shows 700 L working capacity and a 55 kW motor; those values remain subject to the compound and duty cycle.

Product Qualification & Inspection Support

At PDI we can check lid travel, pressure hold, interlocks, no-load blade rotation, bearing temperature, visible welds and seals. The certification and safety records are prepared for the delivered system.

Delivery, Shipping and Service

The pressure assembly is protected, the base is bolted to a transport skid and the machine is braced in reinforced timber. Loading photographs and installation-clearance notes support handover, together with a 12-month warranty and remote commissioning.

FAQ

Q: Why is a pressure lid needed for rubber or EVA?

A: These materials may stay above the blades and leave a partly mixed layer. A controlled lid increases contact with the working blades, helping the batch reach a more uniform state.

Q: Can the lid pressure be adjusted?

A: Lid force and travel are selected from material resistance, batch size and the required shear condition. We check the pressure and interlock functions during PDI.

Q: Will the lid damage the blades or chamber?

A: The drive, lid force and clearances are designed as one mechanical package. We review the recipe and batch condition before setting the operating limits.
